This volume collects the exercises, worked examples and case studies of the course Numerical optimization and optimal control for dynamical systems. The theory they rest on is in the companion volume, the course notes, whose parts and chapter names this book mirrors.
Each part can be read on its own once the corresponding part of the notes has been covered. The examples that are needed to develop the exposition have been left in the notes and are not repeated here.
